Established in 1972, has grown steadily to the position of one of the largest youth football clubs in the West of Scotland. The club is affiliated with The Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA) who are part of The Scottish Football Association (SFA). In recent years the club have been recognized for our development of children into football. In 2008 the club was recognised by The SFA by achieving 'The Quality Mark Award'. In 2009 saw the name change to Barrhead Youth Football Club is a registered as a Scottish Charity (Charity No SC040946) and a nonprofit making organization.
