Club history
Southwell City Football Club is a football club based in Brinkley, Nottinghamshire, England. The club traces its foundation to 1893 with the establishment of Southwell Greenhalgh's, a team which changed their name to Southwell City the following year. This side folded in 1905 before a new club adopted the name in 1908 and competed until the First World War. A third incarnation lasted from 1921 until dissolving in 1925.
